As in recent years Ninja Kidsoul was mostly preoccupied with fatherhood, he exclusively appeared as a feature guest on releases by his producer and long term artistic partner agajon. Therefore it is also agajon with whom he reintroduces himself as an artist, whose sonic range is unmatched - dropping his first ever single “Gap Shit” to be release on April 28th 2023 via Kabul Fire Records. Inspired by the likes of J Dilla and Madlib “Gap Shit” ft. agajon is a soulfull hiphop track that doesn’t follow conventional arrangements of today’s mass produced music. Ninja Kidsoul’s vocal performance smoothly slips from rap into singing and back - all carried by agajon’s very specific approach to flipping the prominent sample in a way that complements Ninja’s sound the best.
